Sprouting

Sometimes I think about myself
and how I'm not quite grown.
Through all my troubles and my fears
I'm really not alone.
I'm like a buid sprouting out
waiting to be a flower.
Right now weak, but just you wait,
soon a source of power.
Right now my looks are awkward,
maybe even strange.
You'd better not laugh, cause pretty soon
things are gonna change.
I reach above toward the sun
becoming old and wise.
And like a the flower full in bloom,
I'm what you'd call a prize.
