I Just Don't Get It

What were the creators of Teletubies thinking? Did they think that having some fat aliens run around a television screen would enlighten young minds? And like they really needed to show the whole episode twice, like the kids were too dumb to get it the first time. It's like they are trying to teach the youth that if they turn their brains off, the answer will come back and bite them at a more appropriate time. Maybe the creators of the show were drunk. That could be an excuse. Yeah, let's say that they were drunk. That gives them an excuse. But, what about the television network that televised it? They surely had to preview that show before they approved of it. What is going on in this world?! No wonder kids are getting dumber.
