Catch some zzz's

Isn't it strange that it is so difficult to wake up in the morning? When my alarm clock goes off, I find myself making excuses. It's amazing the things that you are willing to compromise for just five more minutes of rest. So, you give in. You push the snooze button on your alarm, sure that the next time will be different. Five minutes later, you hear that annoying buzzing in your ear again. You decide that you couldn't do anything more in the next five minutes then you have in the last. This process continues on and on, until you find yourself rushing to get whatever it is that yous going that morning. Through out the day, you feel like your head is going to weigh your shoulders down. Everything seems heavy and slow. You can feel the bags under your eyes, hopefully no one to notice. You tried scrubbing your tongue dozens of times this morning, but you can taste the bad breath seeping out of your mouth like a thick, green cloud. Pretty gross. Life doesn't get any worse. You find yourself promising over and over that you'll go to bed early and get up early too. That night, you become so busy that you forgot about going to bed. You wanted to live tonight. You wanted to do something outrageously fun. So you did. Then You get tired. You go to bed late, late, late. After what feels like only ten seconds of sleep, you hear the alarm clock go off. What could be the harm in only five more minutes.....
