Roots

I went to This is the Place historical park with my family last week. I haven't been there for such a long time! It was a nice little visit, even though we weren't able to stay long. Anyway, as we were walking around the tall monument-ish thing we noticed these plaques in the ground. One the them had the names of all of those that were in the very first party of pioneers to come to Salt Lake. It was pretty cool to see. It was especially awesome because my great great grandfather was in that group. Lewis Barney. What a man. I just feel so fortunate to come from such awesome people!
